Steel elevators came into use in the 1920s as steel sheets became affordable. In fact, many wooden elevators were sheathed in steel for fire resistance. With its colorful signs and period styling, this corrugated-metal elevator is perfect for your layout and your favorite era from the 1920s to today. The kit includes the main elevator, plus a wood storage bin and wooden office, all with realistic wall textures. Separate doors and windows add to the realism, along with colorful decals for several grain companies.
