The ASF® 100-ton Roller Bearing Truck is from the modern diesel era. It has standard 36-inch wheels and a longer wheelbase than the 50 or 70-ton roller bearing trucks. Our model is a faithful reproduction of the American Steel Foundries® Ride Control® truck. This truck is currently in use under a variety of rolling stock in North America.

Once Kadee trucks have been fitted to the car, always check the coupler height. Coupler height modification will probably be required due to non-standardized original equipment manufacturing in O-Scale. Always check coupler height and trip pin clearance using the #812 Kadee® Coupler Height Gauge for O-Scale, and check for the correct coupler height and trip pin clearance. If needed only use a Dry Graphite Lubricant such as our #231 "Greas-em" to lubricate the trucks couplers or moving parts.
